By the time you’re having your first coffee, Chef Wayan has already been to Pasar Canggu. He shops the market at 6am on the days he cooks for you, then builds the menu around what was good that morning, the way his mother taught him, because these are her recipes.
Dinner happens in the villa’s chef kitchen while you do nothing at all. A Balinese feast served family-style at $25 a head, a BBQ night by the pool at $30, or his wood-fired pizza when the kids have had enough adventure for one day. In the morning there’s the floating breakfast, $18 per person, served on a tray in the 16-metre pool, or add the bed & breakfast tier at $12 per person per night and wake up to a cooked breakfast daily.
Vegan, halal and gluten-free are all handled with 24 hours’ notice. And when the last plate leaves the table, so does the washing up.
