The suite
Climb to the Candra Loft and the villa changes register: up here it is just you, the rooftops of Berawa, and a private deck pointed at the sunset. Most evenings guests head up around six with something cold and do not come down until the sky has finished, the light over the rice-field belt toward Batu Bolong is the whole reason this loft exists.
Inside, 30 square metres of loft hold a king bed, air conditioning that stands up to a Bali afternoon, and 150 Mbps Wi-Fi for the morning you decide to stay another week. It sleeps two and is honest about who it is for: couples. At $120 a night, all-in with tax, service and daily housekeeping, it is our friendliest rate, which is why returning couples book it months ahead for July and August, when the three-night minimum applies.
You are one flight up from the pool and the breakfast table, and the deck works at sunrise too, if one of you surfs Batu Bolong early, scooters from $7 a day, helmets included, delivered to the gate.
